Fresnel lenes make for some weird distortions when three-dimensional objects are placed behind them. An oak frame holds a wooden labyrinth marble game (from the days before video games) which was cut up into pieces and placed inside it. A stack of plywood at the very center holding an exposed CPU comes right upto the lens. Random blinking christmas lights were then strung around the back of the frame behind the labyrinth. The finished piece was very entertaining to look at.
